For its different laboratory spaces in the new plant in Tres Cantos (Community of Madrid), Merck, a benchmark in the pharmaceutical and chemical business, has placed its trust in HibLab to carry out the study and design of its processes for a specialised and diversified laboratory space.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Merck, a leading science and technology company specialised in the areas of Healthcare, Life Science and Performance Materials, is present in 66 countries around the world where they create high-quality speciality products in the fields of healthcare, life science and high-performance materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The production site is one of Merck’s 7 biotechnology plants worldwide. HibLab has designed, sized and remodelled more than 110 m2 of laboratory spaces, responding to the different types of existing facilities, organising the processes in different rooms relating them to the facilities section and providing it with laboratory furniture that has been manufactured and customised expressly for Merck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The laboratory facilities range from a reception area, classified rooms, cold room, and other rooms for analysis and microorganisms. These spaces are equipped with our highly technological and customisable laboratory furniture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus, a sustainable laboratory has been completed, being functional, flexible, accessible, productive, safe and environmentally friendly. In other words, designed for people, whether they are its occupants or all those who may be affected, in one way or another by the activities carried out there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A flexible laboratory, both in the design of the space and in the infrastructures that must be prepared to accommodate not only present activities, methodologies and technologies, but also future ones, without entailing excessively costly modifications or substantially altering the laboratory’s usual activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
